Start workflows from dashboard rows, see clearer paths, and work more smoothly on mobile

Start a workflow from a dashboard table record using that record’s values, and manage multiple starting paths more easily. Fixes for mobile attachments and reading information from photos are ready, while connected AI assistants can inspect dashboard designs more effectively.

You can add up to three workflow buttons to rows in portal dashboard tables. Values from the selected row are passed into the workflow and can prefill matching fields in its first form. A button shows progress while the workflow starts and prevents repeat presses. You can also make a starting path available only from a dashboard row and choose who may use each path separately. In the designer, connect starting paths to suitable later steps and see more clearly what they skip and where the paths meet.

When your mobile app is updated, you will be able to add photos or files to forms and chats again. The issue preventing information read from a photo from reaching form fields has also been fixed. Reducing photo sizes before upload will come with the next app store release.

AI assistants you connect to Flow as an administrator can inspect permitted dashboards and data fields and try dashboard components. They can check a visual preview of the dashboard layout to spot empty or problematic sections, and read more complete results from Flow.
