PLC data comes to Flow as live dashboards and notifications get stronger

Flow can now read Modbus TCP devices on private networks securely and without writes, refresh dashboards automatically, and show raw measurement values; live notifications and dashboard filter permissions are fixed too.

Organization administrators can now add Modbus TCP-enabled PLCs on private networks to Flow through a visual setup. They can choose which measurements to read, configure scaling, word order, and counter behavior, then test the connection with live values. Flow brings the data into existing tables, dashboards, and reports through a secure read-only connection, without requiring the PLC to be exposed directly to the internet.

Automatic refresh can now be turned off or set from 5 seconds to 5 minutes in live monitoring dashboard settings. Connection tests show raw device words in decimal and hexadecimal, making scaling and ordering choices easier to verify. Accidental spaces around pasted secure access credentials no longer cause silent timeouts, and a compatibility issue that left connections using those credentials waiting without a response is fixed.

Notifications such as task assignments now reach the right user's notification area without a page refresh. Saved dashboard filters also follow dashboard visibility and editing permissions, closing the ability to read or change filters for a dashboard you cannot access.
